What I Like

I like almost all kinds of music, but especially dance (HiNRG, Techno, Ambient) and what's come to be classified as Alternative (though little of it really is anymore.) I listen to alot of internet radio (Radio 1 from London, Zilsteen Radio from Holland, and Music1 from NYC.) In Boston, mostly WFNX, with a smattering of some 93.7 MIKE-FM, WBCN and KISS-108.) Also a big fan of XM Radio, primarily BPM. I even like some (Eeek!) showtunes.

Favorite Artists

Particular artists I really like (in no particular order) include Jane Siberry, The Clash, The Catherine Wheel, Travis, New Order, Laurie Anderson, The The, Kate Bush, U2, Consolidated, Depeche Mode, Grace Jones, Sarah McLachlan, REM, Jimmy Somerville, Portishead, Style Council, The Waterboys, Duran Duran (Yes, and I am proud to admit it!), The Police, Coldplay, Travis, Squeeze, Billy Bragg, David Bowie, Live, Moby, Lloyd Cole (with or without the Commotion), Dusty Springfield (R.I.P.), Aztec Camera, Mark Eitzel, Pet Shop Boys, Orbital, The Jam, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Future Sound of London, Radiohead and Coldplay.

I also love Billie Holliday, Big Band (Ellington, Goodman, etc) and standards from Cole Porter and Gershwin.
